Frank Raymond Sr. grew up talking about realty every evening at the kitchen table with his architect father and quickly developed a love for real estate. Following his deep-rooted passion for the business, he began Raymond & Associates more than 40 years ago when he purchased his first residential site, which is now part of the Raymond Community Apartments in Evanston, Illinois.
Indulging his entrepreneurial spirit over the years and ability to spot growth potential, Raymond methodically purchased land and developed numerous residential, retail and commercial real estate projects. Under his guidance, the company now consists of more than 550,000 square feet of retail space, 300,000 additional planned square feet of retail space, 700 apartment/condo units and 70,000 square feet of office space.
Raymond received his bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
